Department of Information Technology 

The NJCU Department of Information Technology provides technology and communications services in support of NJCU's academic and research needs. 

Innovation and technology are key to accelerating the university's mission. Our goals include striving to always: 

• Enhance teaching, learning, research, and university operations at NJCU by providing students, faculty, and staff with innovative technologies.
• Providing a great customer experience by always exceeding expectations. 
• Improve the way we work and create a collaborative environment that encourages the development of new and creative ideas. 

Department of Information Technology Mission Statement

The Department of Information Technology (IT) oversees the operation and management of information technology resources at ¿ìèÆƽâ°æ. Our mission is to provide high-quality technology and to empower members of the University community by providing an excellent and broad spectrum of customer-focused support services. IT works collaboratively with members of the University community to facilitate their use of computing, voice and data technologies. In addition, we are committed to providing a robust and highly secure communications infrastructure in support of the University’s Mission. We strive to facilitate the ethical use of information technology and to create an environment that nourishes individual development in the use of technology to re-enforce academic and personal growth.

Technology Vision Statement

The University provides information technology resources, equipment, and training that support full and competent use of technology in teaching, learning, business operations, and communications. Technology plays an integral and pervasive role in all aspects of University life. NJCU embraces the effective and responsible use of technology to promote academic achievement, enhance productivity, and nurture personal and professional growth.

As a reminder of the challenges that were experienced by everyone at NJCU, and around the world since early 2020 due to the COVID pandemic, the Department of IT prepared this video as a testament to what we all went through and how we persevered.
