Through interest in Architecture prior to dwelling in graphic design, the idea of combining structured shapes into a defined design was intriguing. While architecture remains a poignant theme in my choice of liking, what better way then to combine my passion of constructing three dimensional structures and typography into package design. Taking notice of typography, color, and structure as a 3D element my work involves a combination of interests into a finalized brand product. 

Citri is a skincare brand dedicated to all skin types. Made from natural ingredients, Citri devotes itself to providing its customers with a fresh experience with organic ingredients such as citric acids. Citric Acids are full of antioxidants that assist in removing dead skin cells, balancing skin tone, softening the skin, and so much more. As a primary ingredient in Citri's products, a citric adventure awaits its customers. 

What makes Citri who they are, and how do they differ from other brands? This project includes creating a brand from scratch and exploring Ctiri's brand identity through the beauty of design. This project will showcase the brand's logo, package design for multiple products, information card, advertisements, pattern design, and a brand guideline book. Through innovation and exploration of the brand's look, the goal is to develop an eye-catching brand that is on par, if not better, than most popular brands in store. With this project, I am diving into how designers and companies capture the consumer's attention through design. When you are standing in the middle of an aisle looking through products, what catches your eye and why? Our brain is formatted to grab what we find appealing to sight, so a bright red product is more pronounced than a muted color. Through exploring Citri's brand identity, the goal is to create a fun, appealing look through packaging that will essentially have consumers engage with one of Citri's products over what already exists in the cosmetic industry.
