Senior Class Officer: Mary Granados

Contact Information: mgranadosgames@njcu.edu

Hello everyone, my name is Mary Granados, and I am a Biology major, aspiring to become a Physician Assistant in the near future. I am currently a rising senior, and I am really happy to be part of the Class of 2024. I was born here in the U.S, but I moved to Honduras when I was 4, and was raised there until I was 15; when I decided to continue my education here in the U.S. Living most of my life in Honduras, and then moving to the U.S was a tough decision, since I had to leave my parents and siblings behind to pursue my dreams. Thanks to the support of my parents from Honduras, I have been able to work on my career aspirations, and have been able to appreciate my parents sacrifice to help me pursue my dreams. As a first generation student, I am hopeful to one day be able to help others who might have similar struggles as I did, when I first moved here.  I enjoy listening to music, hanging out with my friends, and reading romantic novels. This year, I hope to be able to do my best on the current activities I am involved in, and my classes. I am really excited to advocate for my peers of the class of 2024!
