Group Study Rooms
Rooms 311, 312, 313, 314, and 315 are designated group study rooms on the 3rd Floor of the Library for use by current NJCU students only. Rooms are available on a first come first served basis only and cannot be reserved ahead of time. On occasion, a library staff member or public safety officer will request to see a Gothic ID Card for verification purposes.
Users must not damage any equipment or furniture in any group study room. No food or drink permitted.
Quiet Study Room
Room 217 is a designated quiet study room on the 2nd Floor of the Library for current NJCU students only. The room is a place for silent study and concentration and can accommodate more than one student at a time. Discussions, phone conversations, or any activity that would generate noise to disturb other users should not be conducted in the quiet study room.
Users must not damage any equipment or furniture in the quiet study room. No food or drink permitted.
Multimedia Room
Room 218 is a designated multimedia room on the 2nd Floor of the Library for use by current NJCU students only. It is available on a first come first served basis. The key is available at the Periodicals and U.S. Government Documents Department Desk on the 2nd Floor of the Library.
The room is equipped with interactive technologies for research, viewing educational videos on YouTube or DVDs from library's collection. With a computer, a webcam, a headset, and the connection to a large screen LCD monitor, the room can also be used by current NJCU students in need of completing online interviews privately and professionally.
