Leaders of the Free World Program
and NJCU are offering students an opportunity to visit Ghana and to develop leadership skills. LFW Fellows from NJCU will travel to Ghana, West Africa, in July to meet and collaborate with local colleges and organizations for Professional and Leadership Development Training Workshops and Cultural Exchange and Service-Learning programming.
General Eligibility Requirements:
- Black male undergraduate student at NJCU with an interest in leadership
- GPA of 2.5 and 24 credits earned by the end of the semester of application
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Must be a continuing student in the following Fall semester
- Successful completion of AFRO 101 or AFRO 164 with a grade of B before or during the semester of application. More details on the African and African-American Studies Minor program are at
Cost: NJCU will help students fundraise to cover program costs
