Mexico City: Reading the Past and Present of Mexico's Violence and Resistance
Professor Cora Lagos led a group of NJCU students on a 10 day trip to Mexico City to explore Mexico's history of violence and resistance within the context of social tensions, cultural and political shifts, and questions of gender and ethnicity. The course examined primary and secondary texts from different periods, as well as films, performances, and artistic sources.
