The Department Offers Several Undergraduate Degree Tracks:
- Biology, B.S. (NJCU) and Biomedical Engineering, B.S. (NJIT), Dual Degree (3 + 2) Program
- Medical Laboratory Science Joint-Degree Program, B.S.
- Biology with Teacher Certification (Biology), B.A.
- Biology, B.A.
- Biology, B.S.
- Medical Imaging Science Specialization, B.S.
Several academic options are available to students desiring either a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Biology, Medical Imaging Science, or Medical Laboratory Science. Professional advisors assist students in selecting appropriate courses for careers in research, education, government, industry, the medical professions, and other related fields. The Biology Department sponsors a Biology Club and the Nu Pi chapter of the Beta Beta Beta national biological Honor Society. Supplemental Instruction support is available to all Biology Department students at no cost.
