Admissions Information
Admission Requirements of the STEM Certificate Program
Students complete the STEM Certificate for graduate credit. Students who apply for the 36-credit Master of Arts degree in Educational Technology or a Master of Arts degree in Educational Technology with School Library Media Specialist certification will be offered the opportunity for the four classes, 12 credits, to be applied toward the STEM Certificate.
The STEM Certificate is also offered to school districts for non-credit through The Center for Teaching and Learning and the Department of Educational Technology.
If you are already enrolled in either MA program and would like to earn the STEM Certificate, please contact your advisor. You do not have to be enrolled in the STEM Certificate program to enroll in these classes. All Ed Tech students may register for these classes.
If you are part of our distinguished alumni, you may receive the STEM Certificate by registering for one course--EDTC 645 STEM Foundations: Rethink Learning. Please contact your former advisor to register, or email Dr. Samantha Kozar, the STEM Certificate Program Director.
