INTRODUCTION AND STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
快猫破解版 (NJCU) supports the use of service and emotional support animals on campus in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and in other situations subject to the rules outlined in this policy. This policy offers information regarding what constitutes a service animal, service animal in training, an emotional support animal, domestic animal; the rights and responsibilities of the owner and/or trainer; and animal access throughout campus, including within campus housing and the cohabitant conditions of non-threatening wild animals.
POLICY
In order to provide for the health, safety and welfare of all persons on property owned or controlled by NJCU, the following rules are established to control domestic animals on university property. (Domestic animals are any dog, cat or tamed animal intended to be a pet or companion for a person).
- Animals qualified to be on campus shall not be permitted within buildings on property owned or controlled by NJCU, with the exception of domestic animals specifically trained and certified to provide assistance to persons with disabilities.
- Qualified animals on NJCU grounds shall not be left unattended. Domestic animals on the grounds of NJCU must be on a leash, rope or lead of not more than six (6) feet in length and held by a responsible person.
- Any person bringing a domestic animal onto the grounds of NJCU shall be responsible for removal of any waste products or damages done by the domestic animal to NJCU property.
DATE TO INITIATE REVIEW AND UPDATE
As deemed necessary or appropriate by the Policy Coordinator but at a minimum, at least every 5 years from the date of last review.
