快猫破解版 to Honor 1,667 Graduates in 2024 Commencement Ceremony on May 15

JERSEY CITY, N.J. |  (NJCU) will award 1,667 undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees in a double ceremony during its 2024 Commencement exercises on Wednesday, May 15 when the university holds its 2024 Commencement exercises at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, N.J.

The first ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. and will include graduates from the School of Business and the College of Professional Studies. The second ceremony will begin at 2 p.m. and include graduates from the William J. Maxwell College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), the Deborah Cannon Partridge Wolfe College of Education, and CAS/Education dual-degree recipients. Doors will open for guests and graduates one hour prior to each ceremony. It will be NJCU鈥檚 first ceremony held at Red Bull Arena.

NJCU Interim President  鈥嬧媤ill preside over his second commencement ceremony as the leader of the University. Dr. Bettina L. Love, a professor, change maker and New York Times Best-Selling Author, will be the 2024 Commencement speaker and will receive an honorary doctorate degree. Dr. Love holds the prestigious William F. Russell Professorship at Teachers College, Columbia University, and is the acclaimed author of the New York Times bestseller 鈥淧unished for Dreaming: How School Reform Harms Black Children and How We Heal.鈥 In 2022, the Kennedy Center recognized Dr. Love as one of the Next 50 Leaders dedicated to making the world more inspired, inclusive, and compassionate.

Tekla Tchelidze, '24, will deliver the student response from the Class of 2024 during this year's Commencement exercises. She is a Biology Major who immigrated to the United States from the Republic of Georgia in the Caucasus region between Eastern Europe and West Asia. The international student transferred from Tbilisi State University, in Georgia. She currently serves as the President of the Biology club, as a Supplemental Instruction tutor and is a member of the Leadership Honor Society.

In total, NJCU will confer 1,228 undergraduate, 420 graduate, and 19 doctoral degrees during the two ceremonies 鈥 an 8.2 percent increase in bachelor鈥檚 degrees from 2023 and a 3.4 percent increase in graduate degrees. 

The William J. Maxwell College of Arts & Sciences will confer 596 undergraduate degrees, with Psychology (123), Biology (111), and Computer Science (76) the largest majors. The School of Business will graduate 283 undergraduate students, with Management (101) and Accounting (64) having the largest focus. The College of Professional Studies will celebrate Criminal Justice (92) and Nursing (87) among its graduates, while the Deborah Cannon Partridge Wolfe College of Education continues to prepare teachers for New Jersey鈥檚 classrooms, highlighted by 221 Master鈥檚 and 15 doctoral degrees being conferred.

NJCU will also honor its Golden Gothics 鈥 representatives of its milestone 50th anniversary class of 1974.
