How has the COVID-19 pandemic affected you?
This is the question that a representative group of faculty and staff posed in June 2020 when developing The COVID-19 Archive—an initiative that will bring together the NJCU community's responses to COVID-19.
The pandemic has forced all of us, including our students, to face the repercussions of a calamity of global proportions in our daily lives. It has been—and continues to be—a stressful, frightening, and sad time. There have been many losses, including that of the physical connection with our campus and the NJCU community.
The COVID-19 Archive is the remarkable story of our much-altered lives for our future post-COVID-19 campus. It is a digital repository of photos, stories, documentations, opinions, lessons and more. It is artful, or not; it is heartfelt, disappointed, even broken-hearted. It is our reflection of what we are dealing with, how we survive and make sense of it, and all we lost along the way.
The COVID-19 Archive will become available for viewing during fall 2020. It will grow during the academic year as more people in our community contribute projects.
Who Can Participate?
Submissions to the digital archive will be accepted from NJCU students, faculty, professional staff, administrators, alumni and our professional network and friends. YOU!
