Professor John Donnellan spoke at an event titled "Jersey City Rising: A Startup Hub in the Making" at the NYUSPS Urban Lab at the Schack Institute of Real Estate. His focus was on the NJCU School of Business entrepreneurship program and how this unique program assists startups in Jersey City.
In recent years, Jersey City has become a hub for startups and tech. Known in the 20th century for its focus on manufacturing, today Jersey City is poised to become a center for the creative class and tech entrepreneurs, who are attracted to its scalable startup culture and collaborative environment. Thus, the event posed the question: What steps can Jersey City take to secure its rise as an urban tech hub?
