Dr. Michael Edmondson, NJCU Dean, Professional Education and Lifelong Learning, recently published his fourth book Strategic Thinking and Writing for the Corporate Communications collection of Business Experts Press (BEP).
Strategic Thinking and Writing helps the reader understand that, as the author notes, 鈥淚n today鈥檚 hyper-connected, dynamic, and ever changing global marketplace, storytelling is the new strategic imperative for organizations that want to achieve and sustain growth. The power of narrative, however, is built upon the foundation of strategic thinking and writing. As technology has democratized the power to share stories with the world, succeeding in today鈥檚 age of collaborative commerce demands that leaders on all levels develop and enhance the business competency of storytelling built on strategic thinking and writing in order to drive customer engagement, enhance business performance, and remain relevant.鈥
During the last few years, Dr. Edmondson has published four books for BEP. In addition to Strategic Thinking and Planning, he has published Marketing Your Value: 9 Steps to Navigating Your Career (February 2015), Major in Happiness: Debunking the College Major Fallacies (December 2015), and Success: Theory and Practice (March 2016).
