¿ìèÆƽâ°æ’s School of Business now offers students a minor in public relations. A recent study by the found 95% of business leaders feel that executives at all levels should have a working knowledge of public relations skills.
The NJCU Public Relations concentration and minor provides the business or non-business student with an understanding of public relations strategies and extensive practice with the traditional and nontraditional tools necessary to communicate in a digital world to best manage conversations about brands.
A minor in public relations is a perfect academic complement for students majoring in English, psychology, and education. Students pursuing a minor should know that it is 18 credits and should take Principles of Marketing, Marketing Communications, Marketing Research & Analytics, Public Relations Theory & Development, Writing for Public Relations & Marketing and Visual Communication Graphics for Integrated Marketing Communications.
NJCU Marketing majors who are interested in public relations can declare a 9-credit concentration in the subject by taking Public Relations Theory & Development, Writing for Public Relations & Marketing and Visual Communication Graphics for Integrated Marketing Communications.
