NJCU Hosts First-ever TEDx Event

NJCU recently hosted its inaugural TEDx event, a local gathering where live TED-like talks and videos previously recorded at TED conferences are shared with the community. TEDx events are fully planned and coordinated independently, on a community-by-community basis.

The April 5 student-run TEDx, held in the Gothic Lounge on the Jersey City campus, focused on, 鈥淭he Past, The Present, The Unknown.鈥 Topics ranged from science-related matters to philosophy. The TEDx events work to present a diverse range of topics without pushing any specific political or religious agenda.
