The Arts, Spring 2016:
In Fictive Kinship, a solo exhibit inspired by the death of Sandra Bland, visual artist Kimberly Mayhorn used
paintings, works on paper, installation, and a two-channel video to explore kinship or social bonding between
unrelated black women.
Eight students from the accelerated pre-licensure and RN-BSN nursing programs participated in a service learning trip to Tanzania led by faculty members Debra Scardaville and Elizabeth Galetz.
