Question: When do I have access to my courses?
Answer: One weeks before the semester begins students are given access to upcoming courses.
Question: What happens if I submit the wrong file for my assignment?
Answer: The instructor needs to clear the attempt. We recommend contacting the instructor to allow another attempt.
Question: Why can I not log in to Blackboard?
Answer: If you are registered for a course in GothicNet, rest your password using the 鈥淔orgot Password鈥 link on the Blackboard login screen. If you were just registered for your first class, please allow 2 hours for Blackboard to be updated. If you are still having trouble logging in, please contact the IT Help Desk.
Question: How can I correct my name in Blackboard?
Answer: Please contact the Registrar鈥檚 office for name changes.
Question: How do I install the Blackboard Mobile app?
Answer: The Blackboard Mobile App is compatible with iOS and Android devices and can be found in the app store. For further help please seek this quick start buide from Blackboard:
Question: How long will I have access to my Blackboard courses for?
Answer: Students have access to their courses for one full academic year.
Question: I was dropped from course for non-payment. How do I regain access to my course?
Answer: Be sure that you have cleared your bill (contact the Bursar's office), check your schedule in GothicNet (contact the Registrar's
office with any concerns) and wait 2 hours for the next enrollment update to process for Blackboard access.
Question: I am unable to view my grades/comments from my professor. How can I view this information?
Answer: Contact your professor to have him/show these results to you.
Question: I am having trouble accessing or submitting work through the publisher's course links.
Answer: We recommend to contact the appropriate publisher's technical support team:

Question: I just swapped/dropped/added/withdrew classes. When will Blackboard be updated?
Answer: Please allow 2 hours, after the changes have been made in GothicNet, to be reflected in Blackboard.
Question: How do I send my instructor a message?
Answer: From inside of your course in Blackboard, click on "Messages" from your course menu. Select
"Create Message," select the "To" button, select the user from the list, select the
right arrow to move the user to the recipients box, compose your message and
select "Submit" to send.
Question: Where can I view my assignment/assessment grades?
Answer: Enter your Blackboard course and select "My Grades" from the course menu. If you do not
see the grade you need, please reach out to your instructor.
